Thanks Kathy!!! At least now I am done with the Dentist until I have to go in for my crown. That will be some time from now, thank goodness. I will have to go back for my 3 month check-up though! Yuck! I feel like I have lived there lately! LOL I have been there 8 times in the past month or so! Dang!!!

Sweetpea meets the Family

Yesterday, Sweetpea, my Mom, my sis and I drove to the Orange County area, past Mike, Rich and several other Roo celebrities, all the way to visit my Mom's two sisters. There had been rifts between some of them for years, and in one case, it was the first time my Mom had seen her sis in over a decade!

Sweetpea was immediately included in the table settings (My family is BIG on eating), the picture taking and the conversations. My sister, in fact, called this morning to tell me she had a headache from laughing so much!
We sang, we laughed, we took TOO may pictures, we ate til we were sick, and we had a great time! Everybody loves Debbie!
This morning, when my sister called, she told me that my brother had phoned her last night.
"Well?" he had asked, "What's she like??"
My sister told him "It's like she's been a member of our family for years"
And that's just the way it was. And is.

Aww, that's wonderful Marky, meeting the family can be a stressful moment. I worry what my fokes will think when they meet Jason.

I was a little worried because Marky had prepared me for the worst. It never happened. His Aunts & Cousin are very sweet people. I love his Mom, Sister & his Nephew too.
You two will be fine. Just do what Marky did & prepare him for the worst & then you will have everything covered. LOL

Be very quiet!!
Nobody is supposed to know this!!
Hidden under the gear I am taking to the Comic Con is a ring!
While we are there, with the kids present, I intend to ask her a question. And it wont be "Which is better, Green Lantern or Wonder Woman!!"
You will know this before she does because we are leaving early in the morning, and we won't be near a computer until we get back on Sunday!!
I am very excited! We are days away from being gifted a lot from my Mom (my part of my dad's estate) and have looked at home plans for the site!!
We will be looking at a wedding sometime in August, maybe the weekend of the 13th.
Exciting times ahead!! My best to all the Roo!!

WOW!!! i'll say so... congrats marky!!! that's great... wow... i'm just still in shock... that's just amazing... and sweet!!!

Hi, everybody! Sorry it took so long to get back, but Exxie notified us we'd have the kids for an extra day, so we decided to stay over.
Here's the scoop:
Debbie's divorce became final on the 13th.
On Thursday night, I gathered my kids around us and we asked Debbie if she wanted to be part of our family. She said yes. We gave her a ring, which she will post pictures of later, I am sure!
We plan to have the wedding sometime in the middle of August, say around the 12th (hint, hint: What other event takes place that weekend??).
WOO HOO!!

Wow, August 12th is my parent's anniversary. That's a good day cause they've been married 27 years this year with no signs of slowing down.
