Sunday morning we got up & went to church. It was nice. They honored Mother's & being that I have 4 Step-kids, I received a flower. We came home & he called Cindy to see if she was up to visitors & she was!!! Yea!!! We are going to San Diego! I called my Dad. Rough call for me. Alot of tears! Left a message with my Mom. Still no response. I then called Donnaslaw to see how she was doing. She was not up for visitors as of yet, but we will be waiting for the time to be right to go see her.
We stopped at a roadside stand & I bought 6 toe rings (way cool!) & Marky a new pair of sunglasses. We then headed into San Diego to see our Cindy!!! I feel like I have known her forever & yesterday was the first time we met. I love her as much as Marky does. She is a great & a very brave lady!!! We have alot in common. We talked & Marky just sat there smiling & listening!!! It was a nice visit. We tried to make plans for the Star Trek convention in Aug, but it hits the same weekend as the RooUnion!!! We took a bunch of pics, which Marky will try to get on here as soon as possible. We hit a Denny's on the way home & finally got home & in bed around 12:30am.
Got Marky out the door this morning & I am now on my way to the Dentist to have this stupid tooth pulled. Tonight is going to be a kick back & take it easy night. Hopefully some Roo time for the both of us, but that remains to be seen!!!
I will continue this later, as I need to get to the Dentist now!!! Hugs to all!!!

My Pea has said almost EXACTLY what I said this morning in another thread here, and that impresses me.
Her details of other parts of the weekend was ALSO very accurate. She DID, however, leave out ONE MINOR DETAIL:
The letter.
On Saturday, while I was at the inservice, I was calling Pea during lunch. Shew told me that she had spent the morning writing me a letter. 5 pages long. She was excited about sharing it with me. She also sounded very nervous. She led me to believe that this letter was VERY important.
I waited all day. When I called her again from my ex-'s house, where I was picking up my kids, she was even more excited and more nervous.
By the end of the day, when I finally got to read the letter, she was pacing.
It had grown a bit during the afternoon.
It was the story of her life, all the things that had happened to her, all of the things she had done. She wanted to share it so that I would know. She was afraid I would change my mind about her.
HA!
Fat chance.
Although I was deeply moved by the whole thing, nothing on it mattered as far as how I felt about her.
She's still, and will always be, MY GIRL!!

Thought that it had been a few days since I had posted here & knew that some of you were wondering how we are doing. We are still going through the "getting to know you" phase of our young relationship. Most of the past few days have been spent doing the plain boring "real world" things of running errands, paying bills, housework & that sort of thing. The nights however, are SUPER!!! We talk, laugh, love, cuddle & hug!!! Woo Hoo!!!
"Soon to be EX" signed the papers on Tuesday!!! Yea!!! My money was finally released on Monday!!! Double yea!!!
We have the Kids tonight! Pizza & a movie for sure & probably a game thrown in for good measure.
I am going downtown today to see about my FIRST Tatoo! I'll keep you posted. Marky says he doesn't mind me getting one, as long as I am happy!!!
Not much else going on here!!! Just the same stuff & the fact that Marky & my love grows stronger with each passing day! I love him deeply!!! Until later...

Here's what Debbie meant:
Last night, we had out first "Fallout" just before bedtime.
She had been extremely hurt by the comments of a fellow Roobie, and did not trust me enough yet to know that I would put her first. She is just a little bit insecure about the number of ladies I know and converse with. To date, she has attacked the problem by getting to know the ladies, and talking to them about everything, usually ending up being better friends with them than I ever was. That makes me EXTREMELY happy.
But this one, yesterday, she couldn't deal with. She was frustrated, hurt and angry, and I got caught in the storm.
We worked it out. This morning was a lot of prayer and devotion. Things are better now.
I am again trying to do fence mending, but have made it known that people who are not interested in helping me mend this fence will end up on the other side of it when I am done.
