Posting in Succession ...

I've been asking folks via PM to please deselect SHOW SIG when posting in succession, ie 2, 3, 4, 5, etc. times in a row, we have many dial up users and this is the courteous thing to do as more sigs mean more time for pages to load, many here have already received this PM from me, so if you think you've been singled out, you haven't been, it's taken me a couple of years to get this notion through my thick head lol if you want to know how much of a pain it is to see some threads, just ask members like crhend, Crudebug opted to turn sigs off so that he could get the pages to load faster, but many viewers don't have this option, I know it's a habit with us all and I've been trying to lead by example, it's really easy to do, just untick SHOW SIGNATURE when posting replies, leaving your sig showing with the first or last reply of yours in a row ...

I've been merging posts I see that are in succession and all have sigs showing, all I'm asking for is a little courtesy here

there's no need to delete posts that you've forgotten to untick SHOW SIG in, just go to EDIT, then ADVANCED and untick SHOW SIG, it takes the same amount of clicks as deleting does ...

we've all experienced days on the Roo where the pages are loading painfully slow, like today for instance lol imagine having to go through that every single day! at some point, the Roo would become simply not worth the effort, we want as many people to get as much enjoyment out of this place as possible and such a small simple thing can make a monumentous difference for some!
