so a side from the watermarks the other proof is actually getting incredimail and seeing for yourself that it was ripped from that.. but then of course the other complications which I'm sure people are wondering.. is even showing that.. how do they know that the person that made it for stat headings or whatever they are called.. how do they know that THAT person didn't "steal" it from someone else that created it? Doesn't it become a big long cycle?

Please refrain from getting snippy vampy.

When someone has created the stationary header.. stat.. and it is huge it is not meant for names to be added.. a tag is what would have the name added at an appropriate size.

Some creators only make stats therefore they do not make tags that can have names added.

Others make tags like myself. Those can have names added.

I have myself taken time out to help people on this thread.. even so far as going to their threads upon request and looking things over.

Most would have demanded the threads closed.

I am being patient and helpful.. as my time is allowing. And explained as best I can. There is not a lot more I can do.

To someone who is not really into psp etc then yes I can certainly see why those concerns would arise.. but as you are familiar with the program you get familiar with a creaotrs style so to speak.. and also know when it is they themselves who made it.. besides using their water mark.. or personal stamp so to speak.

And we do have people who try to steal our creations in our world as well.. but those people are hunted and blacklisted. Some of us also use digital watermarking now too..

YOU said this statment, all I did was to point out having your name on something is NOT a copyright!

Ultimately.. you nor I will know the real reason the thread was deleted.. but chances are good that is was done to keep safety purposes .. and only the mod or owner can attest to that. It might also have been deleted becuz there was a lot of animosity in it as well.

Right now I have gone out of my way and given my time to be helping.. yet I am still getting attacked. I have managed to hold my cool right now.. but I certainly can see why others who have tried to help have given up.

yes and ive stated over and over ..i would NOT post anything with a copywright on it..that i can see...and i have still been attacked to and others with name calling and all...lil ms grouch

Vampy. Many here will vouch I am doing my utmost to help calirfy things.

And yes.. a name on it after you have created it is a form of copyright. Look at artists. They place their name on the artwork and it is copyright.

I have merely been showing and using examples.

When people such as myself are helping and get jumped on from others who do not want the help it makes for increased animosity and fighting.

And I for one do not need that. Not with what I am doing.

sorry...i can't keep up with all the group names...and didn't know which one they were referring too....sorry sweetie.....!

Here's my 2 cents on the shutting down thing.....creators are writing directly to the owner of this site and advising them that there are copyright issues going on in certain groups and it needs to be addressed and that they are in violation of their terms of use.

I beleive that the only people that have the power to shut down a thread are the owners, moderators or person that originated it....is that correct?

so i guess that jokaroo, in the name of terms of use made their own decision on how to handle the issue.

If you wanted to get technical about it...any one using a Disney character is in violation and if Disney was here monitoring the whole dang thing would probably be shut down.

Pooh, Mickey, Betty Boop, Tinkerbelle, etc are not to be altered in any way unless by registered users approved by Disney......but that's just really extreme....but you hear about stuff like this in the real big world all the time. lawsuits upon lawsuits or coprs sueing for use of trademark images. I stay away from all things Disney.

Same with Hanna Barbara!

this is not anywhere near that level and for the most part there is no monetary loss so a lot of stat makers and taggers still use their stuff. I don't particularly respect that but it's not effecting me directly either.

Sorry again for misunderstanding on which group they were referring to here.
