apparently only 1 in 6 times lol the first time I scheduled a tech to come out, it was for 8 days later and he never showed, the next time, it was gonna be 11 days, the 3rd time it was gonna be 14 days ... lol the one time they showed up, everyone on the block was having trouble, turned out to be a squirrel had chewed through the lines, all the other times (save one, hubby and I just went and bought a stupid modem lol), the internet miraculously fixed itself even tho the problem was "not on their end" lol

... how do you fix a computer problem on dial up on the phone??? don't you need the phone line for that? lol

yep you do...i phone them..they tell me to try this and that...i hang up...open the folders they told me to ...check make sure settings are what hey told me...try to connect to net...if problem is not fixed i call back..and guess what i never get the same tech person... so i tell them what the last one told me to do and that settings were what he told me they should be...then this one tells me try other things...jhang up try those things...call backnew techy..repeat process till i call back and they tell me problem is at thier end
