I havent seen the thread,
but to be honest ...im with iceman on that-
Im a bit worried here now what to post too...
and the roo is already a bit to quiet.

I didn't see the pic, but I guess they have to keep a control on what is used, but two weeks ban is a bit harsh, one week would have been plenty, but to also stop you being able to communicate I think is a bit extreme.....

That is very true Anna, it has sure been quiet around here lately. A lot of posts never gets any replies at all. Thanks Iceman

I'm sorry, I don't. I'm really not trying to be difficult here but I was under the impression that we were all adults and that this was an adult site. I'd be so embarrassed if I got banned over something like that. I just don't understand why the thread was not just deleted and a pm sent to PV explaining why...if your intent is to ban every thread that somebody else finds offensive, then you really have your work cut out for you..lol. Sorry, just my opinion.

I totally agree...if you post something that somebody somewhere finds offensive then they instantly ban you for it...if you post something that is a repeat, they lock it...if you don't deselect your sig pics then they mess with your posts..what the heck is going on here. I come here at the end of a busy day at work to relieve some stress...I find myself wanting to come here less and less now because the Roo is slowly becoming a stressful place to visit.

It was a cake with the lettering..."I'm sorry that I raped you" on it. I know that it was a little tasteless but I really don't think that PV intended to offend anybody.

PV obviously downloaded that pic from another site so it wasn't posted first on the roo. Bring PV back now please.

if ya'll didn't see the thread then how do you know how offensive it was? it wasn't just a few that complained, there were LOTS of complaints about it, it was not just a matter of poor taste or bad judgement, this thread struck at the hearts of many who have been too close to the subject matter for comfort, just because you can post something doesn't mean you should, there have been people banned for considerably less offensive posts and it was the only fair thing for essex to do

she wasn't "instantly" banned and it wasn't "somebody somewhere", it was the majority of the Roo who found this thread to be way more than offensive ...

we are trying to make this place better for everyone to come and relieve stress, you've yet to explain why you have a problem deselecting SHOW SIG when posting in succession, either defend your stand or concede that this is the right thing to do for our dial up users, stomping your feet and hollerin' "I don't wanna" is not the way to go about it, it will mean that more people will get to enjoy more of the Roo, nobody wants to see someone's sig 10, 15, 20 times in a row, we post threads for others to enjoy, right?

my opinon is this...if ther is soemthign on the TV that i find bothers me...i change the chanel...no oen is forcign any one to look at the posts heer...it may haev been in bad taste but i dont agree wiht a banign over it..a pm telign her why it was deleted wood haev been the way to go..just my thot...hugs RK
