Whatever happened to PV??

Myself and others have been wondering what happened to Purplevelvet...one day she's here and then she's in red..was she banned? and if so why?

essex did, it was for the "I'm sorry I raped you" thread, there were a LOT of complaints about that thread and people have been banned for less, it was the only fair thing for essex to do

It just seems a bit harsh that's all. I wouldn't blame her if she never wanted to come back to the roo..but I hope she does..I like PV.

It's not harsh at all. It's like teaching a kid not to paint your walls when paint is sitting open as you run for the phone. You have to teach them its not right, and if you get out of control, and don't get punished, then you think it's alright... can you see were I'm coming from?

If you folks were getting complaints, it looks to me like you would have told PV about it and gave her a chance to delete the post instead of banning her. That kind of action makes me scared to post anything because of fear that it might offend someone and they complain about it. It is your general practice to bar someone that posts something that a few complain about? You are dealing with people that has a little more intellect than some kid around an open paint can. Just my thoughts..Iceman

I tried to PM or e mail her too to find out what was wrong and couldn't do so! I think that was a bit extreme......
