well a good mod hears both sides ...and dont jump to conclusions and Assume anything

and doesnt pm nasty pm's to 2 people about posting one tag at a time and sigs off and now we are allowed too..TOO FUNNY

id not report spam or anything anymore...So i dont never look to see if a MOD is on or not

I think the reason the others aren't around very much is because when they was here they hardly had anything to do,with me,Izanami and Squirt being able to visit all sections at will everything has pretty much been under control.
I keep a very strict eye on spammers trying to get onto the forum,which is the reason spam only gets through on small numbers and when it does it's usually deleted within a very reasonable time by Izanami or Squirt,if I don't see it first.
Jokeroo was thinking about new mods a while back and I will be bringing the subject up again with admin.

But if they don't visit the site what is the point of being a moderator. Lets not forget you and Iz are in different time zones to squirt (who's away) So when you and Izzy go to beddy byes tonight, there's no one looking after the shop, in prolly the busiest time.

I am truly NOT trying to be offensive here and I KNOW this will be taken the wrong way .. BUT, if you have been here a long time and feel as if the 'powers that be' trust you.. why not just ask to be a moderator, if you want to be one?

I can tell you, it can be a thankless job and many get pissed when you have real life to live..and this is the holiday time..

I do wonder as we have about five or six MODs however only three are active and I believe both Essex and Iz are in the same time zone and Squirt is here almost 24/7 in another it's a heavy load for any one MOD.

Could we not have a few more MOD's spread evenly around the world so that no one MOD is ran off their feet?

Also if the other MOD's are not here anymore then why do they still have MOD status?

It's a thankless job and I wouldn't do it agian for anything for all the tea in China.

in the past, I have (and was recruited) by just being around and voted in when the need arose..I have done the same myself.. there are lot's of senior members.. and if any are interested.. maybe they should speak up.. JMHO..

I sometimes feel like it is work.. especially when it is slow and PPL are looking for things to post to..

What they did before was ask for volunteers, and then they were voted on I believe. And I still maintain if people who do not want to be a Mod, should not moan about those that are selected.
