I haven't been here in a while but will stop by when a movie is extra special to me..

The next review is for SOUTHPAW!! WOW!! Fantastic movie with Jake Gyllenhaal

It's a movie about a boxer's life but its got grit, passion, and emotion
I was enthralled through out the whole movies, Jakes transformation was incredible
he is such a brillant actor.. he should be nominated for this role.. It's not all about boxing
its about life, family, challenges and obstacles.. I must of cried about 5 times
I loved it and it's a must see- one of my top
5 boxing movies, #1 will always be Raging Bull but this one is a close second- see Southpaw

    I rate this a good **** stars

Every once in a while a movie comes along and leaves you thinking What just happened
This is how I felt about The Revenant - With Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy
WOW!! I didn't expect that... Leo plays a trapper in the 1820's who is attacked by a bear and left by his fellow trappers to die
The Bear Attack was so authentic I think I gripped the chair in the movie theater WOW! and the rest of the story has so much to offer
scene after scene of what this man Hugh Glass went through to get back to the one man that started it all! I won't reveal any more.
Either your going to love it or not! Lots of blood, gore and sweat! To me Leo owned this movie, not a lot of dialog for him he just acts.
The Cinematography was AMAZING!! Many times I couldn't believe the Beauty yet the darkness of the conditions they all went through
One word WOW! and a definite must see if anything for the bear scene

    The Revelant **** 1/2 Stars

Big time jaw dropping scenes, lots of violence some may not care for but to me it showed the extreme life of a trapper. Tom Hardy was amazing and it was Leo's role of a lifetime.. He didn't have a lot of speaking parts his acting shined through emotion pretty brilliant.. Can't wait to see it again and buy for the collection.

The forest sounds good oh you know I love to get my spook on lol

I'm glad you liked it Deb and thanks for sharing ❤️

I finally saw 10 Cloverfield Lane and it is sooooo my style, suspensful, hitchcockish, twists and turns if that's your type of movie
I'd highly recommend it John Goodman at his finest in my opinion and there is no predictability its all surprise after surprise
I loved it and rate it **** stars It's a story about people in a bunker and what is going on in the outside world or is it..
It will keep you guessing that's for sure
