Good old Microsoft; trying to use clever algorithms without anyone in the company knowing the meaning of either word.

From what I can see, it only wants me to use what it gives me!

name a few what you use?..you can put them as start tiles, like below, also delete the tiles you don't use...

I had to switch to Windows 10 at work. Everything went smoothly except Office. Funny that the only thing the Microsoft operating system couldn't access was their own software. There are a couple of other niggling negatives, I haven't seen a single positive so far.

Mr. G.G uses Office. I've heard many expletives coming out of his home office!

At least for now, I have ditched the Windows 10 laptop, and went back to the Windows 8 laptop. I am sorely disappointed that 10 is doing constant updates, which hogs up all my wifi. I just had a major update yesterday, and it is already getting another one ... one that will probably take 3 - 4 days to get it all, like last time. By the way, I have automated updates on the Windows 8 turned off. You can not turn them off on Windows 10.

If this site was Android-friendly, I'd use my tablet here.

    It is!
If only I could remember how.

I believe, but not sure, that if you scroll all the way down somewhere the word "desktop" should be showing. If you chose that option, the layout changes to what you are use to.

If you set your connection (wi fi) to metered that will stop them, you'll have to do them manually though when you want.
