What if the charges are true? Should Trump supporters hang their heads in shame and stay home in November? Should conservatives throw in the towel and capitulate to the inevitable demise of the Trump White House?

Not a chance. Now, more than ever, conservatives should get out and vote. Here are four reasons why.

First, we are not voting for a new president. Donald Trump is the duly elected, 45th president of our nation, and the next presidential vote doesn’t come until 2020.

Consequently, regardless of his behavior, this vote is not directly about him. It’s about other issues, about a larger agenda, about campaign promises that are important to many of us. Why in the world would we not want to vote to see those promises kept?

So, while we are not voting for a president, we are voting for congressmen who can thwart or advance the president’s agenda. And if anything has been clear over the last two years it’s that Trump has tried to deliver on many of his pledges and commitments.

The question, then, is simple: Would we be better off with a president who is empowered to continue to push forward with a conservative agenda or by a president who is hamstrung? Would we be better off with radical leftists dominating the House and Senate or with conservatives holding their ground?

That’s what the midterms are about.

In short, our vote is not a specific endorsement of the man Donald Trump. Our vote is a call to continue to advance an ideological agenda (while, at the same time, voting against a very different, even dangerous ideological agenda). And since this is about advancing an agenda, the president’s demeanor and leadership style are not the major issue.

The midterm elections are about helping him do more good, we must remember who wants us to stay home.

And if you put aside the daily scandals and controversies and accusations (from the Mueller investigation to the payment of porn-stars to the latest tell-all book) – in short, if you put away the drama – it’s clear that President Trump has accomplished a lot that is good.

The midterm elections are about saying, “Let that good continue!”

Why in the world would you want to stay home?

everything that Trump has accomplished in just 18 months in spite of all the obstruction and drama from the left
i have to wonder
if Trump's name was obama...the left would be screaming he is the best president in the history of the USA

the left is not about the country or the people...the left is all about power
and because they dont have any..they have become whining little brats that will stop at nothing to undermine this PRESIDENT

a perfect example of that is what they did to Nikki Haley
they claimed she spent $52,000 on curtains, oh the horror !
until it was learned it was the Obama administration, then it was suddenly justified
but if it had turned out to be Ms. Haley, they would've asked for her head!

exactly...just like the separation of families at the border..Bill Clinton signed the bill into law...every president since has been
upholding that law..obama had them in cages as the photo circulating the net showed..it was taken in 2014 under his administration
not under PRESIDENT TRUMP....the left is very good at propaganda and changing the facts to suit their agenda

if the events over the last few weeks have proven anything, it's that there's nothing beneath the Democrats, there's no low they won't sink to if they think it will serve their purpose
"by any means necessary" isn't just a phrase, it's a mantra

we saw a man presumed guilty, we saw an assault victim abused and taken advantage of, we saw people being cornered and screamed at, spit on, cussed at, we saw good and decent people being ran out of restaurants and accosted at the airport, it's disgusting
then we're told it's "on both sides"

Senator Paul's wife has to sleep with a gun under her pillow because of the vile and violent threats sent her way
Senator Cruz and his wife were not only ran out of a restaurant on their date night, they were chased down the street
police have to escort the Republican Senators around Capitol Hill, and 3 senators had their home addresses, phone numbers and email addys posted online for all the world to see
Senator Gardner's wife was sent a beheading video
Senator Collins had 1,000 wire hanges sent to her office, and she wakes up to protests in front of her house, and goes to bed the same way
and let's not forget that somebody nearly killed Rep Steve Scalise, he's still in recovery!
and we're told that the "violence is on both sides"

it's not, open your eyes and see!
we can't even put a Cruz For Senate sign in our front yard out of fear somebody will damage our vehicles, but you can bet the 2 houses on my block that have Beto signs in their yard don't live with that fear
a cameraman was fired for wearing a MAGA hat at a Trump rally ... while a teen wearing one had a drink thrown on him and his hat stolen

WE ... the voters! need to send a LOUD and CLEAR message to the Democrats that behavior like this will NOT be rewarded with power
if they manage to take back the House, it will say to them that what they did was ok, acceptable even
make no mistake, the Democratic base is mad as hell!
the Democrats WILL try to impeach both the President and Justice Kavanaugh, they will revoke the tax cuts, they will open endless investigations and waste countless money in the process, and any investigation into THEM will be shut down

please, get out and vote, make sure your elderly neighbor gets a ride to the polls, check with your adult children and make sure they're not only registered to vote, but that they understand the importance of actually going to the polls, and how much their vote counts!
a lot of people don't vote because they believe it won't matter ... THIS TIME ... it's one of THE most important elections in our country's history
do you want a country with open borders and the crime that WILL go with it?
would you like to see people convicted of crimes in the court of public opinion without evidence or due process, and told THEY have to prove themselves innocent?
or do you like the prosperity we're seeing, the progress being made with North Korea, the better trade deals, a stronger and better equipped military, American pride soaring high, and a BLIND Lady Justice?

it's up to US to decide which way this country is going to go from here, and we do that at the polls!

for anyone who thinks I'm kidding or being ridiculous about possible damage to my new car for placing a Cruz for Senate sign in my yard:

A man in Vancouver, WA, just north of Portland returned to the bar he had left his truck at the night before to find charred remains of what used to be his Nissan Titan. On the previous night, Johnny MacKay opted to take an UBER home rather than take to the roads under the influence.
He left his truck in the parking lot, expecting to drive it back the next day. Except some anti-Trump terrorists got to it first, setting it on fire. A woman who lives across the street captured video of the truck ablaze at some point during the night.

KPTV reports:

A self-proclaimed supporter of Donald Trump says his pickup was vandalized and set ablaze because of two bumper stickers that endorsed the president.

“To destroy somebody else’s property, just because you don’t like how they think or because they have a difference of opinion–it’s absurd,” MacKay said.

A young man, who reportedly is a member of Antifa, thought it would be fun to verbally assault a woman sporting an NYPD hat and an American flag t-shirt in Portland, Oregon this week. He hurled several insults at her and suggested her husband was abusive. When she told the man that her husband died in the September 11 terror attack, he said, "good."

"You're a snarky little f***ing idiot," he yelled at her, accusing her of blocking the road.

"My husband died in 9/11," she informed him, pointing to her hat.

"Good for him!" the man said. "Good! NYPD are sodomizing immigrants with their bully sticks, so your husband should probably rot in the grave."
The exchange was pulled from a longer video posted by documentarian Brandon Farley, who has been filming the violent behavior of Antifa for the past couple of years.

Even more shocking than this man's abusive rant, was how no one around the woman, at least as far as the video is concerned, stepped in to defend her from the hate. Even more shocking is how few media outlets have covered the exchange.
This woman's husband was a hero.

Cowards! Complete cowards that seem to be uneducated. A two year old has a larger vocabulary than those guys. I would also say they do NOT believe in the hate they are spouting' because they won't fight for what they claim. Are they just attention getters? Could they be mentally ill? What they are doing is so WRONG...but I can't grasp the reasoning behind it. What are they hoping to achieve?

Speaking in South Florida to Parkland students and parents earlier this week, House Minority Leader Pelosi called the activists a “blessing to our country,” and said that because of their energy on the issue, gun control would be a priority for Democrats should they take back the House in the midterm elections.

“I admire you so much,” she said. “You have the purpose, the generosity of spirit. You have the marchers — you have people who will go out there to make a difference — and you just have a relentless, persistent, dissatisfied approach.”

But not all parents of Parkland victims are happy with her proclamation.

Andrew Pollack, whose 18-year-old daughter Meadow died this past Valentine's Day at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, responded on Twitter, blasting Democrats for failing his daughter and her classmates.

"What/who failed my daughter:

"•Dem policies

"•Dem Sheriff

"•Dem Super intendant

"•Dem school board •Dem teachers union

"Now Nancy Pelosi is saying that if the Dems take back the House they will take away guns to honor Parkland victims

"From a victims dad, go to hell Dems #FixIt"

Pollack has since founded Americans for Children's Lives and School Safety, whose "mission is to design, implement and support programs that foster children’s safety, security and well-being," according to its website.

Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party spokesman William Davis was suspended for one week after joking that Republicans should be sent to the guillotine after the midterm elections. Davis said it was just an inside joke, but other Minnesota Democrats have been under the impression lately that it's okay to harass Republican politicians.

Minnesota state representative Sarah Anderson and state representative candidate Shane Mekeland have experienced this harassment firsthand.
The suspension came days after Minnesota state representative Sarah Anderson was punched in the arm after spotting a man destroying Republican yard signs. She said the attack left her scared, and her attacker only desisted when she fled to her car and threw it in reverse.
"It was just insane. He was charging at me, saying, ‘Why don't you go kill yourself?'" Anderson told the Washington Free Beacon. "To have someone physically coming after you and attacking you is just disheartening."
Mekeland, meanwhile, was "sucker punched" at a restaurant and suffered a concussion. The attack was so severe it forced Mekeland to house arrest.
The alleged assaults have both candidates weighing changes in their approach to campaigning in closing days of the race. Mekeland was unable to leave the house to knock on doors due to his sensitivity to sunlight on Tuesday. He said he and his volunteers will only travel in pairs for the rest of the campaign to ensure they are not alone during such visits, which will limit the ground they cover. Anderson said she has gotten offers from her husband and other volunteers to escort her around the district. She pledged to keep knocking on doors until Election Day.
With this context, still the best the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party has managed is a one-week suspension for Davis's insensitive remark that some see as inciting violence.

"He's a political staffer so you'd think if anybody should know boundaries, I think that'd be it," Mekeland said.

It appears there are no boundaries when it comes to harassing Republicans, and not just in Minnesota. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was chased out of a restaurant in Virginia, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) experienced the same treatment in Washington, D.C., and senators like Susan Collins (R-ME) are receiving death threats for voting for Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Perhaps Democratic leaders need to do a better job speaking out against the violence on its own side. A few have started the trend. Former First Lady Michelle Obama chided Eric Holder for telling Democrats to "kick" Republicans, and Cruz challenger Beto O'Rourke defended the incumbent's right to have a peaceful night out with his family.

It'd be nice to hear more of that.

Yet another Republican has been harassed while dining out, this time Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.

McConnell and his wife, Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, were finishing up their meal at Havana Rumba in Louisville, KY, when four men began yelling at them, according to video obtained by TMZ. In the short clip, the leader of the protesters asks McConnell: “Why don’t you get out of here? Why don’t you leave the entire country?”

Someone else can be heard yelling “Ditch Mitch!”

The woman who shot the video and sent it to TMZ told the outlet that this same protester “slammed his fists down on McConnell’s table, grabbed his doggie bag and threw the food out the door of the restaurant.” She also said the protester appeared to be most concerned with Social Security and health care and said McConnell was “killing people with his views” before she started filming.

McConnell and his wife can be seen calmly sitting while the men scream at them. Some other restaurant patrons appear to try and calm the men down.

After the protesters left, according to TMZ, McConnell shook the hands of those who supported him and thanked them.

Two U.S. senators who supported the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court received death threats from a Long Island, NY resident, who was arrested Friday morning.

Federal authorities say Ronald DeRisi, 74, sent expletive-laden phone messages to two senators – who were not named in the complaint – beginning on Sept. 27, the day Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, who accused the judge of sexual assault, testified before Congress.

In one of 10 “threatening voice-messages,” DeRisi told one of the senators he had a “present” for them.

“It’s a nine-millimeter. Side of your … skull,” DeRisi said. “Yeah, Kavanaugh – I don’t think so.”

In another message left the same day for the same senator, DeRisi said: “If f—– Kavanaugh gets in, he’s dead f—— meat!”

On the day Kavanaugh was confirmed, DeRisi called the other senator, threatening, “You better pray this guy don’t get in.”

“I’m gonna get you,” DeRisi said in another message to this senator, according to the complaint.

Police determined DeRisi was the culprit using phone records, voice exemplars, and matching his credit card to purchased pre-paid cell phones, which he used to make the calls in and around his home.

Authorities say in their complaint against DeRisi that he made the threats to try and keep those senators from supporting Kavanaugh “and/or as retaliation for having voted to confirm” the judge.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office is prosecuting the case. Richard Donoghue, U.S. Attorney for New York’s Eastern District, issued a statement regarding the threats sent by DeRisi.

“We and all those dedicated to the rule of law will not tolerate the use violence and threats of violence in attempts to prevail in political disputes,” he said.

DeRisi was previously charged in 2015 for phoning the home and office of another victim more than 15 times, also leaving threatening messages. He plead guilty to “a state charge of aggravated harassement” according to CNBC. He was also charged with felony tampering in 2011 after he allegedly cut cables at a cell tower construction site.

DeRisi’s attorney, Peter Brill, said his client was diagnosed with “cerebral atrophy which has led to progressive dementia.”

“He’s not a violent person, although his disease has led to an increased lack of impulse control,” Brill told CNBC. “We know this story was scary to the people he called, but he’s not a violent person and I’m just going to continue to hope that he gets the help that he needs.”

DeRisi is just one of many who sent death threats to senators over Kavanaugh’s nomination. Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) received coat hangers and death threats in an attempt to persuade her to vote against the judge. Collins held firm and delivered an impressive speech detailing why she chose to vote for Kavanaugh despite the actions of his opponents. This past week, a hazmat team was called to investigate a letter sent to the senator’s husband.

A package with a suspicious powder was also sent to Sen. Ted Cruz’s office in Texas, and he was harassed out of a restaurant by protesters.
