You see this all the time. Carefully cropped and manipulated images in the major media. Bullshit!

so who is paying for all this free stuff?
There is no "free stuff". It is paid for by taxation (as you should well know) and guess what? The Danes are quite happy to pay those taxes to live in a society where, as Kristian Jensen said, citizens are not limited by the monetary value assets of their family.

Because their families have no monetary value. It all goes to the tax man.
OK, bad choice of word: monetary assets.

"It all goes to the tax man" is blatantly false: how else would there be people with large monetary assets? If that's the best argument you can come up with against a system which is patently not only working but popular (else they'd vote for a capitalist government) it is pointless trying to convince you, as you can obviously not accept understand any other view than your own.

I guess that I could say the same. Sheep do not willingly wander away from the flock to face the ups and downs of life. Council houses. NHS, leave entitlements, squatter's rights, etc. offset the radio license, telly license, outdoor hose bib tax, etc.

Denmark is clearly an exception, made so by what appears to be a responsible government
I cannot imagine handing over 60% (+25% sales tax) of my income to the US government, then trusting them to spend it wisely lol

exactly..nothing is free..it falls on the taxpayers..just like the Canadian healthcare system...which is the point i was trying to make before i lost my thoughts...if the danes are so happy being taxed to their eyeballs..why are so many of them coming to Canada...northern Ontario is full of them
and more coming in legally i will add every year
i suppose it works for some but not all..i do understand the upside to it..but the downside as well..i suppose like most people they dont like change and are comfortable with the way their lives are..of all the socialist countries Denmark is definitely the exception..look at all the ones that have failed..Venezuela right now is a great example of failed socialism
