I don't know what it looks like in the US from the inside, but from the outside he ain't far off on the way it is seen. He's pretty much on the mark with Theresa May too.

but he did condemn the "Nazis", and he condemned white supremacy, and he's done it many many times over the years
heard one commentator who put it perfectly, he said he just presumed that everyone already knew that the KKK and white supremacy were bad
there are many over here who see the Antifa on the same extreme scale as the "neo-nazis", we've seen them burning and destroying, there's a teacher who stood up in court, after being arrested for assault, and said an attack on a fascist is not a crime, they truly believe that it's ok to use violence to shut down "hate speech", also translated to "speech you don't agree with"
and a lot of folks over here saw the two sides going at each other, the common belief here is that it was a pre-planned street brawl
and we've seen the stories coming out about people who were there for the right reasons, to protest the removal of history, who believe we're best served to remember history, lest we repeat it
but for some, support to keep these Confederate monuments equals racism

how? by the same logic that caused the GOP to campaign for 7 years on replacing Obamacare, only to not have a clue how to get there lol :sigh:
