It's those people Brian's gofundme page is going to help, ranchers along the border
by going around the government, there won't be any battles over imminent domain, no land purchases, the ranchers are free to put whatever they want on their own land
this will not only help the ranchers, but will allow border security funds to go further by reducing the amount spent on imminent domain and land purchases, it's a win/win!
Republican Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw appeared live from the U.S. southern border to discuss border security with Fox News host Sean Hannity.
Reporting on Thursday night from a Rio Grande Valley section of the border, Crenshaw explained the difference in results between border measures taken near Brownsville, Texas, and nearby McAllen.
“Here’s the big takeaway here,” said Crenshaw. “So, the Rio Grande valley is actually responsible for about 40 percent of total illegal immigration in the entire country. So, it’s a huge spot for this.”
Crenshaw explained how the area is “divided up into two spots,” Brownsville and McAllen, before delving into the difference between the two.
The Brownsville area has about 35 miles of pretty secure fencing. It’s border security the way that we would like to see it. It’s a good mix of technology and secure fencing. In the McAllen area you have exactly the opposite. You have wide open areas. Now, so what do we see? We see about six percent of illegal apprehensions occur in Brownsville, and 94 percent occur in McAllen. So, do walls work? The answer is very clearly yes. That’s exactly what we’re seeing. And as we’re driving over here. You can see Mexico right behind me. As we’re driving over here we’re seeing groups of migrants being caught as they’re crossing the border. And a lot of these have kids with them, which means they will simply be let go into the U.S. population.
The segment also included former DEA special agent Derek Maltz, who discussed illegal drugs being brought over.
Crenshaw lamented the politics behind the impasse between Democrats and Republicans by noting that the plan “isn’t even the president’s.”
“This plan has been on the books for years,” he said. “It has come from border agents on the ground. It comes from experts at the Department of Homeland Security. It is walls where it makes sense. This is the places that our men and women that are on the front lines have been asking for. This shouldn’t even be a partisan issue.”
The second Central American caravan has been heading towards the United States-Mexico border for awhile. This new caravan was originally supposed to have roughly 2,000 people on it. According to Mexico, that number has multiplied and currently sits around 12,000. The caravan is expected to arrive at the border on Monday, in plenty of time for President Donald Trump's Tuesday State of the Union address, Fox News reported. To intensify orders, the Pentagon recently announced an additional 3,750 troops were being deployed to the border.
This new caravan began on Jan. 15 in Honduras. Their final stopping point will be in Piedras Negras, Mexico, right along the Texas border, where Mexican officials have established shelters for the caravan riders. If the United States refuses to grant the riders asylum, some riders plan to cross into the United States illegally.
“For security reasons, I cannot say which way we're going to take,” El Salvadorian Antonio Morales told Fox News. “Plus, if Mr. Donald Trump is watching, I can't tell you where I'm going to go to get into your country."
The governor of Coahuila Miguel Riquelme, the state where the shelters are established, welcomed the caravan riders and provided them with food, shelter, phone calls, haircuts and health care.
Jose Fraustro, the Secretary of Coahuila, said the caravan should have been kept along Mexico's southern border instead of allowing the riders to trek an additional 1,300 miles. Now, the riders are facing health issues and long waits to get into the United States under an asylum claim.
Caravan riders have had respiratory infections and gastrointestinal conditions. There have been five cases of chicken pox, one individual with HIV and one case of swine flu.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Democrats will insist the new budget give $3 billion in welcoming gifts for illegal aliens obviously so they will vote Democrat forever, and often.
That every illegal alien costs $72,000 in law enforcement, free jail, free housing, free food, free education through community college and free health care in return for voting for Democrats was not included in Nancy’s announcement.
We have to ask, “How long can a constitutional republic, incorrectly referred to as a “democracy” for positive association with Democratic Party, survive in a constant river of lies? We are told by Alexandria Ocasio Cortez her program will deliver: (1) Free Medicare for everyone! (2) Free education through college, (3) free abortions for everyone, especially aliens and black people. Note: Family Planning was founded by Margaret Sanger to, in her words, “…eliminate the Negro race.” (3) Guaranteed jobs at $15 per hour. (4) Free housing, (5) Legalize drugs by ending drug law enforcement. (6) Eliminate all carbon fuels. (7) Campaign reform eliminating corporate contributions. (8) “An economy of peace.”
Not only is this Lenin, Marx, Stalinist Communism, but it is never closely examined in a way it must be now because academics and bureaucrats think their only way to get more money is to see government grow.
Socialism has been tried 39 times since defined and has failed dismally from the birthplace of post World War I Germany and Russia in the early 20th century. It left utter destruction in an eastern sweep across Asia, through Central and South America where people are hungry in a nation sitting on the greatest mineral wealth in the western hemisphere!
While speaking at the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities on Wednesday, Nancy Pelosi made it clear she does not support a border wall but is apparently in favor of using taxpayer money to provide food, clothing, and medical supplies to illegal aliens.
Pelosi explained the Congressional committee putting together the spending package, which must be passed by Feb. 15, or the government will shut down again, will include “sizable funding for food, clothing, medical care for immigrants” who come to the United States. She is welcoming people that commit twice as many crimes per person as citizens, that have carried enough drugs to kill 72,000 citizens per year, cost taxpayers $72,000 each per year, crowd our schools that must be taught in Spanish and require tutors at additional cost mandated by Democrat-dominated legislatures seeking favor with Latino neighborhoods.
America is so deeply in debt that if it were a person, or family, it would be declared insolvent, or bankrupt, unable to borrow another Dollar, but as it can print money, Democrats continue to pass spending bills regardless the fact they are creating a national collapse. Nonetheless, Nancy rambles on:
“We’re hoping that we can find common ground as soon as possible so that we can not only meet our responsibility to protect our border, to treat people coming here with dignity and respect but also to keep the government open. Some of the things that we have in there I think will be very acceptable goes on both sides of the ledger. We both care, all of us on either side of the wall question, but all care about treating the people who come, so there will be sizable funding for food, clothing, medical care for immigrants coming across the border so we don’t have people dying in our custody, children,”
It should be painfully clear that Nancy is buying votes with our money, not hers. While she declares “Walls don’t work!” she lives behind one in San Francisco. Perhaps she is preparing for the day the people of America catch onto what she has been doing.
President Donald Trump’s El Paso visit is a great opportunity to point out that the west Texas city is a rats’ nest of law enforcement corruption, a major smuggling route into the U.S for Mexican drugs, illegal immigrants and Islamic terrorists and the headquarters of a sophisticated narco-terror ring operated by two of the FBI’s most wanted.
While local officials promote it as one of America’s safest cities, Judicial Watch has exposed in a years-long investigation the disturbing reality gripping the municipality that sits along the Rio Grande across famously violent Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) says El Paso is a major hub for Mexican opioids and methamphetamine enroute to the rest of the United States. Just a few days ago U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released figures showing that the El Paso sector had an astounding 1,588% increase in illegal immigrant apprehensions during the first month of 2019 compared to the first month of 2018. Most are coming from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador.
Drugs and Central Americans aren’t the only things being smuggled in through El Paso. Islamic terrorists are also making it into the U.S. with the help of Mexican drug cartels. Judicial Watch exposed an operation in which Mexican drug cartels smuggle foreigners from countries with terrorist links into a small rural town near El Paso by using remote farm roads—rather than interstates—to elude the Border Patrol and other law enforcement barriers.
The foreigners are classified as Special Interest Aliens (SIA) and are transported to stash areas in Acala, a rural crossroads located around 54 miles from El Paso on a state road – Highway 20. Once in the U.S., the SIAs wait for pick-up in the area’s sand hills just across Highway 20.
Judicial Watch also broke a story about an ISIS training cell just a few miles from El Paso in an area known as “Anapra” situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Law enforcement and intelligence sources on both sides of the border confirm that cartel-backed “coyotes” help smuggle ISIS terrorists through the desert and into the U.S. between Acala and Fort Hancock, Texas.
The areas are targeted for exploitation by ISIS because of their understaffed municipal and county police forces and the relative safe-havens the terrain provides for the unchecked large-scale drug smuggling. In the aftermath of Judicial Watch’s story about Islamic terrorists operating in Juárez, Beto O’Rourke, the former congressman that’s holding an anti-Trump rally during the president’s event at the El Paso County Coliseum, tried to silence federal law enforcement sources.
O’Rourke, who represented El Paso in the House before a failed Senate bid, has long declared that Juárez is safe even as the notoriously violent region adjacent to his district is renowned for beheadings, gunfights, kidnappings and drug trafficking. Juárez is among the world’s most dangerous cities and the most dangerous place in the western hemisphere.
The problems in El Paso aren’t limited to the immediate border region. In 2014 Judicial Watch exposed a sophisticated narco-terror ring, operated by two of the FBI’s most wanted, with roots and financing in El Paso. Its ringleader is an ISIS operative named Emad Karakrah, who was recently released on parole in Illinois.
Karakrah smuggled drugs and weapons for the renowned Juárez drug cartel in Mexico and was a logistics and transportation operative for militant Islamists in the United States. He moved people, weapons, explosives, drugs, money, and other materiel to terrorist cells operating in Chicago, Brooklyn, New York and Saddle Brook, New Jersey, among other locations across the U.S. Karakrah and his cohorts— including two of the FBI’s most wanted terrorists (Jaber A. Elbaneh and Adnan Gulshair el Shukrijumah)—operated from El Paso. Judicial Watch also produced an investigative documentary about the narco-terrorist cell.
El Paso is also known for corruption within the law enforcement ranks. The former deputy chief of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPCSO), Jesus “Eddie” Campa, got criminally indicted for embezzling millions of dollars in Homeland Security funds.
Campa served in the department as a jailer and officer for two decades. He left the agency following the indictment allegations, supposedly for embezzling $5.6 million in Homeland Security Investigation (HSI) funds, sources told Judicial Watch. His boss, Sheriff Richard Wiles, has also been embroiled in several scandals.
Besides looking the other way as one of his trusted deputy chiefs embezzled millions of dollars, Wiles, serving his third term as sheriff, attended a fundraising event at the home of a convicted felon with connections to the illegal drug trade. El Paso County sheriff’s deputies have reported, in detail, to Judicial Watch how the sheriff’s office manipulates and phonies-up crime reporting statistics to minimize the true crime rate in the county.
A massive group of illegal immigrants was arrested in southern Arizona on Thursday
Border Patrol agents arrested 325 Central Americans near Lukeville, Arizona, after the group illegally entered the country.
The group surrendered when spotted, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
The group had been dropped off the night before its arrest about 50 yards from the border, KNXV reported.
At the area where the group crossed the border, the only barrier in place is designed to block vehicles from crossing, not people, according to the Border Patrol.
The group was spotted by a Border Patrol helicopter because the migrants had a fire going on a night when temperatures dipped near freezing, the Border Patrol said in the release.
The group includes 150 children, 32 of whom were traveling alone without parents or other family members, the Border Patrol reported.
Two juveniles — a 5-year-old with possible chicken pox and a 12-year-old with a skin infection — were hospitalized.
So far this year, agents in the Tucson sector of the border have detained more than 650 people migrants traveling in large groups.
Large groups have been arrested in Arizona before.
In the Yuma sector, west of the Tucson sector, 654 illegal immigrants traveling in groups were arrested in one week in November, according to the Arizona Independent.
During a recent White House meeting on the southern border, President Donald Trump noted that agents at the border are doing great work to arrest those who cross, but they can only do so much.
“We’re capturing them. But our job could be made a lot easier if we had support for what the incredible law enforcement folks do at the southern border. Our progress will be limited if we do not secure our porous border and put an end to the human trafficking and humanitarian crisis that is taking place at the southern border,” Trump said, according to a White House media pool report.
“It is indeed a crisis. And, you know, we have right now an invasion. If you look at what’s going on with the caravans, it’s an invasion. There are three caravans heading our way. If we had a wall, it wouldn’t even be a problem,” he said.
“Unsecure borders give traffickers free and clear passage to transport their victims into the United States. It’s a tremendously big money-maker for some very, very bad people,” he said.
“In fiscal year 2018, Immigration and Customs Enforcement made more than 1,500 human trafficking arrests, with 97 percent of that for sex trafficking,” Trump said.
“… And then I have people like Nancy Pelosi and Democrats that say, ‘Oh, we don’t need a wall.’ And they come through areas where you don’t have any form of barrier protection.”
This caravan believed they were in the clear. However, President Trump along with the great state of Texas showed them!
Donald Trump means business, folks. And so does Texas.
The President did not back away from his commitment to a wall and complete border security during his State of the Union.
He tweeted that the new military troops were being ordered to form a human wall if that’s what it takes until he gets the wall he promised.
Now thousands from a caravan are headed to the Texas border where no wall exists, thinking they can just waltz into our country.
But Texas had other plans. Note: Don’t Mess With Texas.
Police are lining up their vehicles near Eagle Pass, Texas, to help Border Patrol agents stop the illegal crossing of caravan migrants who arrived in the Mexican border town of Piedras Negras last week. Texas Governor Greg Abbott deployed an additional Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers to the region to assist in securing the border section that has no physical barriers to prevent illegal crossings.
Is that an awesome display of force or what? If I was looking to cross the border and break the law, that would make me turn right around.
People think Trump is just using the wall for politics. But they don’t understand what’s going on at the border, and they didn’t listen to Trump’s phenomenal speech.
Trump wants the human and drug trafficking to stop completely. He wants the laws of our nation followed. He wants women and children protected.
And people who fight against the wall are fighting for the cartels, the dealers, and the coyotes.
Only a show of force will overcome this clear invasion.
If congressional Democrats suffered the way the family of Dan Ferguson, an angel dad, has, funding for a border wall would have been approved months ago, Ferguson told “Fox & Friends” hosts Monday.
Ferguson’s daughter Amanda was killed in a hit-and-run accident in November 2018. Joel Velazquez, 24, is in the U.S. illegally and had been drinking the night he allegedly ran several red lights and hit and killed Amanda, Ferguson said.
Ferguson appeared on Fox News hours before President Donald Trump is expected to hold a rally in El Paso, Texas, where Ferguson lives. He supports Trump’s plan for border security and said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer would too if they lost someone because of an illegal alien.
“I’m 100 percent behind him on his deal on the wall and securing the border,” Ferguson said. “You know, he also needs to look at cutting off all the money for sanctuary cities, because all that does is let these illegal aliens back into our society to commit more crimes.”
“I know President Trump has looked into the eyes of angel dads and angel moms like me. He knows the pain,” he added.
Velazquez was arrested in 2017 for assault. He allegedly punched his neighbor, Paul Schaeffer, after an argument involving marijuana being smoked in front of their apartment, The El Paso Times reports.
Velazquez posted bail and was released. His assault case is expected to go to court in late February. Velazquez is back in jail, this time under an immigration detainer, which allows ICE to arrest Velazquez for being in the U.S. illegally should he post bail, KVIA reports.
“My question for the House in Congress is, you know, my daughter was hit, and she was so badly hurt that they wouldn’t even let my wife and I identify the body,” Ferguson continued. “Her legs were broken in eight different places, she had five skull fractures, she had 10 broken ribs and a punctured lung.”
“She died at the scene. You know, that’s something that I have to live with and my family has to live with every day. If Ms. Pelosi’s or Mr. Schumer’s daughter or son were hit and killed by an illegal alien, I can guarantee you that funding would have been there months ago for this wall and security for our border.”
Drugs Drugs Drugs
40,000 Americans were killed by illegal drug use in 2010, surpassing car accidents and shootings as cause of death. Most drugs in America are smuggled in from Mexico.
Until 1970, a steady 0.1% of the immigration population was in prison. Then, after Teddy Kennedy’s 1965 immigration act, the prison population skyrocketed. If the incarceration rate had remained the same, there would only be about 310,000 people in prison today. Instead, there are more than 2 million prisoners in America. Since 1970, the U.S. population has increased by one-third, but the prison population has nearly sextupled.
Welfare Abuse (Paid for by YOU)
Immigrants with a high school degree net about $14,642 in government benefits yearly. Those without a high school degree collect an average of $36,993 per year in government benefits, while the average college-educated American pays $29,000 more in taxes than they receive in benefits.
In 1980, California was home to 4.5 million Hispanics. Today, there are officially 14 million. There are more Hispanics in California than there are people in 46 other states.
ISIS vs. Immigrants
Including 9/11 deaths, about 4,000 Americans have been killed by Muslim terrorists in the past few decades, versus 23,000 Americans killed by illegal aliens.
You Might Lose Your Head
We always hear about ISIS beheadings, but the greater threat is our southern border. Between 2007 and 2011, 1,300 people were beheaded by gangs in Mexico, including women and children.
Crimes Over Crimes
According to the U.S. Government Accountability Office, New York City, Los Angeles County, Orange County, Harris County (TX), and Maricopa County (AZ) are incarcerating more than 110,000 criminal illegal aliens. Each arrested illegal alien had committed an average of twelve offenses. Based on the GAO’s estimate of offense types committed by criminal aliens, that would amount to approximately 2,750 drug arrests of immigrants, 5,500 motor vehicle violations, 2,750 assaults, 800 rapes, and 400 murders – and that is only counting illegal alien crimes.
We believe we can build segments of the US Southern Border wall for approximately half of what the Federal Government’s currently estimates. We will build the Wall mile-by-mile in strategic locations based on a variety of factors. We will build as much wall as we can based on feasibility, land use, and funding.
Me and our team have been out to Arizona, New Mexico, California and Texas multiple times meeting with landowners and state/local officials, it’s going great and the communities are supporting us! With that said I’m excited to announce that we have identified a minimum of 7 pieces of land in these border states to begin building on, and I am flying to meet with landowners this week to commence our first big land agreement which will allow us to begin the process to build.
This process includes many items such as land survey, applying for permits for construction, and all site impact studies. Typically, this process does not take too long and when its complete we will then be moving dirt and breaking ground with the first ever section of the ‘People Wall’.
This will go down in history as the people rising up to get the job done when politicians have failed them. We’re going to do this the old fashion way, rolling up our sleeves, getting dirty, and doing work! Showing America the can do attitude that this country needs again.
I’ve learned a lot along this journey, and the one thing these landowners all tell me is that they live in fear 24/7. They also feel neglected by the federal government for failing them for the past 30+ years. Property values have plummeted and crime has skyrocketed in these communities. And this is not acceptable, this is not the country I vowed to protect, this is not how we treat our citizens. It’s time we begin protecting our citizens and standing up to these cartels. Mexico has a nasty cancer, its bad, and its spreading into America. The corruption is already setting in, and that cancer is growing rapidly into the heart of our nation.
awwwwwwwwww ... Alaska has offered to send their national guard to the border to replace those pulled by California and New Mexico, President Trump hasn't taken them up on it, but wow, what a strong message that sends! ♥
