not only that, they reiterated that the President has unlimited powers over immigration, this could have far reaching effects, particularly on our southern border and in regards to DACA

An underage pregnant girl, a toddler and over a dozen youths were among a group of 57 Central American immigrants who were abandoned in the middle of the desert by their smugglers and rescued by U.S. Border Patrol agents late last week.
The Border Patrol said it rescued the group near the Arizona-Mexico border on Friday after someone called Mexican authorities for help.

It says some of the immigrants were in distress in the 108-degree weather, including a young pregnant girl who was sent to a hospital.
The group included 21 adults and 36 minors, many who were traveling without a parent or relative.

"Regardless of the unscrupulous and ill regard for human life attitude by smugglers, Border Patrol Agents work tirelessly to ensure not only the safety and security of our nation but also the safety of those who they come in contact with," the agency's Tucson Sector said in a statement.

A woman whose husband and two children were killed in a crash involving an illegal immigrant said Saturday that America is only seeing one side of the story when it comes to family reunification.

Courtney Hacking's husband Peter, 4-year-old daughter Ellie and 22-month-old son Grayson died instantly when an illegal immigrant without a driver's license drove head-on into their car on March 31, 2016.

Hundreds of protests are planned for Saturday, calling for the reunification of children and their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Hacking said on "Cavuto Live" that the issue is a "sticky situation" because although she doesn't believe any child should be separated from their parent, she won't get the chance to see hers again.

"We have people fighting and protesting for immigration policies and allowing them to stay, but nobody fights for us anymore and I would like to see our government fight for us."

As long as people think they can cross the border illegally, they will continue to try. The journey is dangerous enough due to the natural conditions alone. Traveling hundreds or even thousands of miles on foot, often in extreme heat and without adequate water, is no easy trip for an adult – let alone for a child.

But those who try to cross our southern border illegally are subject to much worse than just the elements – they are at the mercy of brutal criminal gangs. The illegal immigrant smuggling trade is dominated by predatory “coyotes” connected to Mexico’s worst drug cartels. They care little for the lives of their human cargo. These are the sorts of people who don’t think twice before leaving illegal immigrants to die in locked trailers under the desert sun.

A 2014 Huffington Post report stated that 80 percent of illegal immigrant women and girls are raped during their travel.

According to a 2017 study, the presence of illegal immigrants and their 4.2 million kids costs Americans roughly $135 billion in taxes at the federal, state, and local levels. That’s a tax burden of roughly $8,075 per illegal alien family member. Another recent report revealed that the federal government spent $1.4 billion just housing illegal immigrant unaccompanied minors, which works out to $670 per unaccompanied minor per day.

Building the wall will also solve the family separation issue. If families can’t enter illegally, then they won’t be separated while the adults await trial and sentencing. A wall would also funnel legitimate asylum seekers to proper ports of entry. True asylum seekers have no need to cross the border illegally.

The closer President Trump’s wall comes to completion, the closer we get to end the humanitarian crisis caused by our porous southern border. The Democrats’ dream of open borders and their unrelenting opposition to securing our border hurts the people they claim to care about the most.

While on patrol Saturday afternoon, CBP agents came across a tiny 6-year-old Costa Rican boy crouched on the side of the road, clutching a dirty backpack. The child told Border Patrol that his “uncle” — likely a smuggler or human trafficker — had abandoned him in the extreme heat.

“Agents discovered the child west of Lukeville, Arizona and just north of the border, in temperatures over 100 degrees,” a CBP agent spokesperson said in an official press release.

The incident, Border Patrol says, highlights the dangers child migrants face after being sent, usually alone, on a dangerous and illegal journey across the U.S.-Mexico border — echoing the words of the president who said Saturday on Twitter that the lack of border enforcement during the Obama Administration encouraged an increase in risky behavior.

According to current estimates from Immigration and Customs Enforcement, of the approximately 13,000 children in Border Patrol custody, around 11,000 are unaccompanied minors, sent from their homes in Mexico and Central America where their families are threatened by drug lords and crime bosses, and left in the care of unscrupulous “coyotes” who can earn as much as $4,000 per smuggled person.

the Democrats had complete control of our government, including a super majority in the Senate
and they never touched immigration, outside of Obama's unconstitutional DACA executive order
and that didn't come until after the Dems lost power

Please stop attempting to change the narrative regarding illegal immigration by softening the moniker to which illegal immigrants are referred.
Your effort began by replacing “illegal alien” with “illegal immigrant.” It didn’t take long afterward for “undocumented immigrant” to replace “illegal immigrant.” Now you’ve completed dropped any reference to their entering our county illegally by referring to them simply as immigrants (or even worse, migrants).
Do you really think we’re not perceptive enough to notice this?
The bottom line is they entered our country illegally and any reference to them needs to address this. ALL immigrants need to be labeled with their status.

But you can be a legal immigrant despite entering the country illegally or undocumentedly.
