I know this is a thread for jokes, and I don't at all mean to politicize this, but I just thought I'd share this read here. I also hope it's not too off topic.
I recently read this title called "Psychology of Gender," and it was a very stimulating read. It lays bare the difference between "sex" and "gender"--the latter being more appropriate for socially sanctioned conduct and norms in relation to a person's assigned sex. It's a no-brainer, but it's because we are aware of dominant gender norms that these jokes here are funny. I found the ironing joke--the one about the creases--extremely funny. My father used to do that every time he wanted to help out. He did such a bad job that we had to work extra to undo his tardiness.
