The Trump presidency.

Every day it just gets a little bit worse for his supporters and more interesting for those of us that can see that Trump is no more than a media personality.

Trumps PERSONAL charity has been shut down and the assets must be given/donated to LEGITIMATE charitable organisations. The Trump family has enough personal wealth but for reasons known only to them the felt the need to spend money that was earmarked for people less fortunate than themselves. The Judge who shut his charity down stated clearly that Trumps family have been using donations for their own personal benefit.

Under Trumps fiscal initiatives the USA stock markets have lost all their gains and more since he came to office. Wall Street is doing a DEAD CAT DANCE, down 500 points one day, up 80 the next and yes Trump’s inability to have international economic bipartisanship is affecting the rest of the worlds economies.

Except China, they have always had time on their side and they see that time is ripe for them !

The Chinese government must get more of a laugh out of Trump than I do.

FALSE... assets are not ordered to give/donated...he is still fighting the shut down last i heard from reading a post sent to me from a friend
via the PRESIDENTS twitter account..this is a New York demonrat district...both the DA and the judge are huge hillary supporters...just another way to attack the President

the stock market is doing what the stock market does..goes up and down.....but Trump still has a big cushion. The Dow closed at 19,827.25 on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, 2017, which means it has about 3,700 points to go before the Trump rally gains disappear.

so get your facts straight before puffing out your liberal snowflake chest ...you should be more concerned about your own government and country
leaders..from what i have found reading about it...you are more like the clintons are running it
maybe they should spend that carbon tax money they are sucking out of you and build a decent internet service

President Trump has agreed to shut down his embattled personal charity and to give away its remaining money amid allegations that he used the foundation for his personal and political benefit, New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood announced Tuesday.
Underwood said that the Donald J. Trump Foundation is dissolving as her office pursues its lawsuit against the charity, Trump and his three eldest children.
The suit, filed in June, alleged “persistently illegal conduct” at the foundation, which Trump began in 1987. Underwood is continuing to seek more than $2.8 million in restitution and has asked a judge to ban the Trumps temporarily from serving on the boards of other New Yorknonprofit organizations.
Underwood said Tuesday that her investigation found “a shocking pattern of illegality involving the Trump Foundation — including unlawful coordination with the Trump presidential campaign, repeated and willful self-dealing, and much more.”

I will be among those who might have to wait to spend our refunds
we need to call, email, hammer our elected representatives to secure that border
Chuck Schumer could be the hero and get the government open, but he'd rather smack President Trump with it
in the meantime, Americans are dying at the hands of illegal aliens
they HAD to release a couple of thousand of them because of the restrictions the courts have imposed, they were released in El Paso, guess where they're headed?

to a neighborhood near you, but a lot of them will pass through mine first!

If your expecting an IRS refund and the government is still shutdown
you won’t get your refund it will be delayed just FYI
Although if you owe you can still pay (which is most likely me)

The IRS can't pay out tax refunds during the partial government shutdown, and it's the biggest problem for people who need it the most
all the democrats have to do is support Trump and fund the wall to get the government reopened..something crying chuck wanted back in 2006 i believe..but because they are so anti-Trump they would rather see the american citizens suffer than support Trump

Equally surprising about Schumer’s opposition to the wall is the fact that he, then-Senator Hillary Clinton and then-Senator Barack Obama all voted in favor of the Secure Fence Act in 2006, which authorized approximately 700 miles of fencing between the border of the United States and Mexico. While the fence was a “smaller” project relative to Trump’s wall, Schumer supported it. Could Schumer’s opposition to the wall have more to do with who is in office and less to do with the wall itself?

I don’t normally cut and paste so much information but this piece by Victor is truely impressive how it strips the government shut down to it’s nut’s and bolts as at TODAY Jan 17.

Especially the piece by Rudi Giuliani, quote “ I never said there was NO collusion “ and Presidents Trumps feelings of being CRUSHED as his supporter BASE jump off the sinking boat of impeachment.

Word is the Democrats wont hold Donald junior up for TREASON if President Trump resigns.

President Donald Trump on Thursday canceled an overseas trip by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, citing the ongoing partial government shutdown.
He also called for expanded U.S. missile defenses, as reports highlighted his frustration with the shutdown and fresh campaign-related comments by his current personal lawyer and his former attorney.

TRUMP BLOCKS PELOSI’S USE OF MILITARY AIRCRAFT FOR TRIP
President targets Pelosi’s overseas trip after her State of the Union move: Trump on Thursday told House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in a letter that a trip to Brussels, Egypt and Afghanistan on which she was to depart Thursday afternoon has been postponed, saying “it would be better if you were in Washington negotiating with me.”
A top Pelosi aide said that Trump had been incorrect in naming Egypt among the destinations of the congressional trip.
For security reasons, Pelosi’s trip, which Trump’s letter characterized as a “public relations event,” had not been previously announced, reports indicated.
Trump added that Pelosi could make the journey by flying commercial, after blocking her from using military aircraft. His move follows the Democratic lawmaker’s decision to urge Trump to postpone the State of the Union address because of the shutdown, which enters its 28th day Friday.
Some lawmakers were left waiting on a bus Thursday afternoon to learn whether they would depart on the trip, and there was a flurry of phone calls among lawmakers and staff on Capitol Hill, the State Department, the Pentagon and the White House, according to a Fox News report.

TRUMP CALLS FOR EXPANDED MISSILE PROGRAM
President talks missile defenses at Pentagon: Trump called for an expanded missile-defense program to better protect the U.S. in an appearance Thursday at the Pentagon, the Associated Press reported.
Part of the new strategy is to create a level of sensors in space, and the Trump administration’s Missile Defense Review is the first such program since 2010.
“Our goal is simple: that we can detect and destroy” any incoming missile, Trump said.
Ahead of Trump’s remarks, a Washington Post story said the administration is seeking to expand the scope and sophistication of missile defenses on a scale not seen since President Ronald Reagan’s “Star Wars” initiative.
The iShares U.S. Aerospace & Defense ETF (ITA) gained 1.5% on Thursday, while the S&P 500 (^GSPC) added 0.8%. The ETF is down about 7.3% over the past 12 months, while the S&P has lost about 6%.

TRUMP FRETS ABOUT ‘GETTING CRUSHED’
Trump shows moments of frustration as shutdown drags on: The president has had recurring moments of frustration as he takes in negative news coverage of the ongoing partial government shutdown, said a New York Times report that quoted Trump as having recently said: “We are getting crushed!”

The shutdown now has lasted for 27 days. A new poll has found 57% of voters say they’ll vote against Trump, with a pollster saying the president’s base is “showing evidence of a cracking.”
The Times report also noted that White House staff members are becoming acclimated to the hands-off style of acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney.

GIULIANI TRIES TO WALK BACK ‘COLLUSION’ REMARKS
Giuliani says he “never said there was no collusion,” then backtracks: Speaking on CNN on Wednesday night, Rudy Giuliani, the president’s personal attorney, claimed he has not denied that the Trump campaign may have colluded with Russians in the 2016 election, saying he only has stated that Donald Trump himself was not involved in collusion.
“I never said there was no collusion between the campaign, or people in the campaign,” said Giuliani, the former New York mayor. Multiple published reports noted that Giuliani’s remarks run counter to his past comments on the issue.
Giuliani then made an effort Thursday to walk back his remarks after they generated considerable buzz, saying: “I have no knowledge of any collusion by any of the thousands of people who worked on the campaign.”

COHEN BACKS UP REPORT ALLEGING POLL RIGGING
Cohen confirms he paid a tech firm to rig polls and says Trump directed him to do it: Michael Cohen, Trump’s former personal lawyer, responded to a Thursday scoop in which the Wall Street Journal reported that Cohen hired a tech firm to fix polling in Trump’s favor.
In a tweet, Cohen admitted to the act and pointed at his then-boss as having directed it. But he disputed that he handed over a bag of cash to the tech firm’s founder, Liberty University CIO John Gauger, saying that “all monies paid to Mr. Gauger were by check.”

ATLANTIC TO CONGRESS: IMPEACH
Atlantic cover calls for Trump’s impeachment: The Atlantic magazine’s latest cover story called for Trump’s impeachment, saying that “starting the process will rein in a president who is undermining American ideals — and bring the debate about his fitness for office into Congress, where it belongs.”
“This is not a partisan judgment. Many of the president’s fiercest critics have emerged from within his own party,” wrote Yoni Appelbaum, a senior editor at the Atlantic, which is labeled as “skews liberal” in a well-known chart that aims to illustrate media bias.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has knocked down impeachment talk, but her fellow California Democrat, Rep. Brad Sherman, has reintroduced articles of impeachment against the president in the new Congress.

WASHINGTON — The special counsel investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election disputed on Friday a report that said President Trump had directed Michael D. Cohen, his longtime lawyer and fixer, to lie to Congress about his role in negotiations to build a skyscraper in Moscow.
The rare public statement by a spokesman for the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, challenged the facts of an article published by BuzzFeed News on Thursday saying that Mr. Cohen had told prosecutors about being pressured by the president before his congressional testimony.
“BuzzFeed’s description of specific statements to the special counsel’s office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s congressional testimony are not accurate,” said the spokesman, Peter Carr.
Before Mr. Carr’s statement, the BuzzFeed report led to a flurry of reactions by senior members of Congress who said that the allegations, if true, could be grounds for initiating impeachment proceedings against Mr. Trump.
The president himself responded on Twitter late Friday, calling the special counsel’s statement “a very sad day for journalism, but a great day for our Country!”
A proven effort by Mr. Trump to pressure a witness to commit perjury would be one of the most damning revelations so far in the investigation into Russia’s attempts to sabotage the 2016 presidential election and could be the cornerstone of a case that the president obstructed justice to keep investigators at bay.
Both the White House and lawyers for Mr. Trump vigorously denied the BuzzFeed report even before the special counsel’s office weighed in.
“Two words sum it up better than anything anybody else can say, and that is ‘categorically false,’” the White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, told reporters on Friday.
BuzzFeed News maintained that its report was accurate, its editor, Ben Smith, said after Mr. Mueller’s office disputed the account. “We stand by our reporting and the sources who informed it, and we urge the Special Counsel to make clear what he’s disputing,” Mr. Smith said on Twitter.

The statement by Mr. Carr, the special counsel’s spokesman, was unusual because it appeared to be the first time he had publicly challenged the facts of a news media account that had generated significant attention for its revelations about the president.
The New York Times has not independently confirmed the BuzzFeed report. One person familiar with Mr. Cohen’s testimony to the special counsel’s prosecutors said that Mr. Cohen did not state that the president had pressured him to lie to Congress.

what's funny, but not funny ... is that there's never an "error" in reporting that's in the President's favor, 90% negative coverage in 2018
