Had the French army listened to the Natives, they would have won the battle of the Plains of Abraham in 1759 and Canada would have been a different country from what it is now.
In those days, the armies would fight battles in rows of soldiers, side by side, only to see rows of soldiers being shot. The Natives talked about flanks and ambushes.
The Brits had the same tactics, but most likely out-numbered the French and were better shots. (Nothing new there).
