I quite agree! about his Mum when she died????? Ozzy? I did a quick B amber on it -"Changes" is a ballad inspired mainly by Bill Ward's ongoing breakup with his first wife. The lyrics were composed by bassist Geezer Butler, and vocalist Ozzy Osbourne has referred to the song as "heartbreaking". The song was quite different from Black Sabbath's previous songs, given that this one was a "forlornly pretty" ballad, according to music critic Barney Hoskyns.

I bambered it again- Sharon Osbourne has previously claimed that the song was written by Ozzy in tribute to her, however, the song was actually co-written by Lemmy Kilmister, Zakk Wylde (Osbourne's long-time guitarist) and multi-platinum producer/engineer Tom Fletcher. Lemmy was brought in as a songwriter for the No More Tears album, providing lyrics for the tracks "Mama I'm Coming Home" , "Hellraiser", "Desire", and "I Don't Want to Change the World."
there's one that never fails to make me cry lol
it's called "Don't Take The Girl", and it was playing the day my daughter gave birth to her first child, things weren't going well, and they had to wheel her into surgery
I've got tears in my eyes just talking about it lol :tissues:
