'Slither' 2006 MOVIE. Nathan Fillion and Elizabeth Banks.

In this blend of the B movie classic The Blob (1958), and some Romero's zombies film, a meteorite collides in a small town.
Grant finds it, and is infected by a parasite worm, which installs in his brain and causes him a creepy transformation into a monster.
Starla, his wife, and Bill, a policeman, will try to stop him and the plague of worms generated by the creature.

Written by Alejandro Frias

Best Quotes:
Tourneur: [referring to a mutated Grant] He looks likes something that fell off my dick during the war.

Kylie Strutemyer: What are we gonna do now?
Bill Pardy: Probably turn into a couple of these fucked-up things.
Kylie Strutemyer: That's kinda negative.
Bill Pardy: Well, it's been that sorta day.

Bill Pardy: Hey Kylie, why don't you tell Ms. Grant that story 'bout how I saved you from that deer?
Kylie Strutemyer: Oh yeah. Bill saved me from a deer.
Starla Grant: Oh yeah?

Bill Pardy: [holds up a toy squid from his desk] What's this?
Trevor: I thought we could use that like a police sketch, Chief. You know, take it door to door, see if anybody recognizes it.

I watched a interesting movie last night called Bushwick it's a what if that could happens kind of movie...scary

When Lucy steps off the subway, she walks into an utter bloodbath on the streets of Brooklyn's Bushwick neighborhood. Texas is attempting to secede from the Union, and militia forces have descended upon New York City to claim it as an East Coast base of operations and negotiation tool. Lucy takes shelter in Stupe's basement, a burly war veteran who reluctantly agrees to help her traverse the treacherous five-block stretch to reach her destination.

Can't wait for the apes movie its on our netflix but isn't released quite yet
Thanks gf and everyone for all the reviews

We watched a movie last night called GET OUT!

OMG!! a few scenes made me jump and you couldn't predict the end if you tried

It's by Jordan Peele from part of the comedy duo Peele and Key

Basic plot is a girl takes her boyfriend home to meet her parents he is black which doesn't matter its just part of the story
I can't even explain it from there except things get very very weird ***3 Stars for creativity

hubby and I went and saw Let There Be Light last Saturday
it's about a man's journey into the light
Kevin Sorbo plays a divorcee living high on the hog, making his living promoting atheism
he's in an accident, and is clinically dead for 4 minutes, and when he returns to the living, he can deny God no longer
maybe my expectations were a bit high, but I was a bit disappointed that we'd spent nearly $50 to see it
I loved the message, and I suggest tissues for those about to watch it, not a dry eye in the house lol
I give it 4 stars :goldstar: :goldstar: :goldstar: :goldstar:

Just Saw "Gifted" with Chris Evans.... i think i can give it a 10/10 amazing movie, not my type of movie actually, i really don't watch these kinds of movies (have to go and do the "shamelessly admit" thread cos i have to shamelessly admit i watched it only for chris evans) but it got me by surprise how good it is. the kid, wow that little girl! is this some sort of new Dakota Fanning? loved her performance, she killed it, totally owned that movie.

We watched this last night and LOVED it too!!! Couldn't wait to see what happened.. McKenna Grace the little girl is such a star what a great performance

3 Stars for me :goldstar: :goldstar: :goldstar:
