These are roughly 3-4 inches, 70-100 mm long.
Once again, there are longer and shorter examples out there.
Despite looking so different they all have the same function.

What are they?

I can't imagine lol it looks like it was something used by just about everybody, most were kept on a chain, I'm guessing for convenience

I have no idea ~ except that they look like something horrible that the 'Witchfinder General' would have used ~ where they said that if the point went into to a women, and came out and there was no blood ~ then they were a witch [of course we now know that what they used were retractable points ]~ hell my mind must be in overdrive.... LOL

it looks to me like they were used by all walks of life, one looks like a croquet hammer, there's a rifle and and owl
carried on a chain for convenience, I like the toothpick notion, except the tips look too big for that purpose
I thought maybe for putting sugar cubes in tea lol
