The largest of these is a little over 9 inches, 23 cm, long.
These would have been handmade by the person who would use them.
What were they used for?

A gold star for the name they went by.

I'm pretty sure they have something to do with wood stoves...but I can't think of what it would be. They appear to all have that little metal rectangle shape at one end that would be used to lift a lid over a firebox...but I only know of those coming with the stove, not handmade.

my first thought was fish descalers, but they seem a bit fancy for that lol
Not descalers, but they were to do with fish. The name of the specific fish is part of what they are called.

They are used by fishermen to open cans of bait. Oh, sorry, I said fisherMEN, that will open a can of worms!
Not for opening bait cans, but they were used by fishermen; not generally the rod kind, though.
