go to USER CP in the top left corner, at the left of your user cp is a list of options, go to EDIT OPTIONS then look for MESSAGING AND NOTIFICATION ... untick the ENABLE VISITOR MESSAGING

you know, you can turn these off and you won't have to delete them lol
