According to this site (thanks LMP) Birdsnap it's a Carolina Chickadee. Crop a picture down to just the bird, click the visual recognition button, upload the picture and follow the instructions.

We have a whole bunch of chickadees in our yard. They are fearless and friendly! They are the first to find food in a new feeder. They are a riot to watch! They will hide seeds anywhere, including key holes!

We've been feeding birds for a long time. "Bird brain" is a misnomer. These little feathered friends are smarter than some humans.
I've got quite the bird parade going on in my backyard these days
a pair of cardinals, bluejay, woodpecker, doves, swallows, robins, just to name a few
managed to catch that cardinal on the swing, he sure stands out!

I manage to get just a little closer to that woodpecker every day, still want to capture that bluejay too, but the slightest noise and he's gone lol
Your newcomer looks remarkably like a budgerigar to me.

awwwwww ... bless the kitty's heart! :zebrahug:
glad he's doing better! :bravo:

did they lose any cows at that dairy farm, looks pretty much flattened to me

and ...

love the lightning shots! :bravo:

:blowkiss:

The story said " More than half of two 1200 foot barns missing, 85 percent destroyed, 2500 cows moved temporarily no room for all of them, but about 2000 still there, and killing some cattle/ many cows died."

I thought the lightning shots were worth snagging to share... fascinating, and frightening!

I have yet ANOTHER cat from somewhere in the neighborhood stopping by here and there
I swear I am a magnate... this one is young solid black male
But his eyes are whats got me to pay attention Golden amber with enough red in them I thought
there might be an injury when I first saw them.

We have 6 downys coming to our window feeder. How can we tell? They all have different red patches. We occasionally get Hairy woodpeckers as well. Twice the size of a Downy. The Hairy kind is quite funny! It talks to its food!
