Mandatory Birth Control in California!
Posted on November 16, 2016 by Bradford S. Weeks, MD | 0 Comments
SACRAMENTO LAWMAKERS INTRODUCE MANDATORY BIRTH CONTROL BILL
Earlier this week, Sacramento lawmakers introduced a bill to combat the rising tide of teen pregnancies in California high schools. The proposed bill would require mandatory contraceptive vaccination – with the Pregnor® birth control vaccine. The proposed bill would apply to all schoolgirls age 15 – 18.
The advantage of the Pregnor® vaccine, according to the manufacturer, is that teen girls can receive one dose at the beginning of the school year which provides contraceptive coverage that lasts up to 12 months. Novartis, the manufacturer, indicates: “The Pregnor® vaccine significantly diminishes fertility in clinical trials. It is both safe and effective.”
The bill’s author, Sen. Richard Pan, states: “High school girls will be relieved of the worry of having to remember to take the pill every day.” Planned Parenthood praises the bill for advancing reproductive choice. Raegan McDonald-Mosley, Chief Medical Officer for Planned Parenthood, states: “If we have 95% Pregnor® vaccination rates in California high schools, then we achieve herd contraception – which protects all the girls.”
Proponents of the “herd contraception” theory argue that if 95% percent of a given female population receives the contraceptive vaccine, then the remaining 5% – who cannot be vaccinated – will also be protected from unwanted pregnancies.
Margaret Bundy, a Sherman Oaks mother, praised the mandatory vaccination bill: “My daughter is a high school dropout – pregnant at 16 – but it’s not her fault! I blame the other girls – if they got their shots, then my little girl would have been protected by herd contraception, and she’d be in school today!”
Dr. Joe Mengele, a Woodman Hills pediatrician stated: “It’s the un-vaccinated girls who put all the other girls at risk.”
But according to renowned civil rights attorney, T. Matthew Phillips, Esq.: “There’s no such thing as herd contraception – because groups don’t get pregnant – individuals do. Same goes for infectious disease – there’s no such thing as herd immunity – because groups don’t get the measles – individuals do.”
Phillips warns: “Don’t be fooled by Orwellian notions of group immunity or group contraception. Things like contraception from pregnancy, or immunity from disease, happen on an individualized basis, regardless of the group. It goes without saying – the group has no collective reproductive system, and no collective immune system, and therefore, any theory that advances collective contraception, or collective immunity, is too foolish to be taken seriously. Free-thinkers know better.”

so if a parent who doesnt believe in immunization refuses to allow their daughter the vaccine is not allowed to attend high school is a good thing?
how does this legislation NOT take away their constitutional right to an education if they refuse the shots?
there is no such thing as herd pregnancy..just because one or 2 girls might get pregnant does not make every girl in that school pregnant
more and more the people running California are taking away constitutional rights of the CITIZENS
and they call Trump a fascist?... i just shake my head at the lunacy

of course not but that article was from 2016 and nothing has come from it.. and of course they should have a choice
I just mean't a young girl should have access to birth control whether she chooses the pill or a vaccine and that article
definetly needs a re-write and I doubt it will ever happen.

I get that California has its issues, ALL states and countries do
it just irks me that the meme's posted here are mostly fake and made up! like I had mentioned above
I can't help but defend my birth state and where my family lives that's just me and I know I can just ignore
this thread, its sort of like dangling a bag of potato chips in front of someone and say you can't have any
but I will Always defend my home even if it has issues but to go out and just find anything bad and post
it gets to me like people here are on a mission!

An aspirin is a great birth control device. Hold it tightly between your knees.

well it became law in 2015 and took full effect in 2016..so i dont see what the article being from 2016 has anything to do with the law

Co-sponsored by Senators Richard Pan and Ben Allen, SB 277 was approved by the California legislature in June 2015 and signed into law by Governor Jerry Brown on June 30, 2015. The new law took full effect in the 2016-2017 school year

having access is a choice..being forced to get vaccinated or they cant attend school is totally different
i highly doubt that the state you grew up in is the same state it is now
if you want california to be what it was when you were there..then your family should vote those making these laws out of office
that is how we are changed ONTARIO we voted the liberals out and they will be out of power in CANADA in 2019 trudorks days are numbered

I looked up what you highlited and all I found out was about a measles vaccine?
I couldn’t find anything on the article you posted from 2016 and it had no comments
which is unusual.. so I mentioned 2016 as maybe it was an older article
I did find this and Jerry Brown signed it into law, the people didn’t vote for it but they are disputing it

California Governor Jerry Brown Signs SB277 Vaccine Mandate into Law

My family does vote.. and most definitely California isn’t the same, Nothing is the same.. The U.S. is in a state
of chaos and madness, it was never this bad and that says a lot.

Manzy, I feel for your worry and concern for your family.
I lost my farm house and all outbuilding in 2011 to a brush fire in Texas, so I know your worries and will offer prayers for their safety.
At the same time, California is becoming an insane asylum. A friend owns 3 houses in California and is facing a 18.5% state tax if he sells them and doesn't reinvest his money in California. That doesn't sound like the correct thing, but the holding people hostage if they try to leave.

Thank you T for your prayers ?
I am also sorry you lost your home ?
I agree California state tax is awful and housing is ridiculous it’s why I haven’t moved back
I know there are issues there, there’s issues here here too in WA the sound transit law passed
and it tripled the cost of vehicle registration in the Tacoma area, I’m just saying every state has
it’s problems even California.. but it’s not the only bad state ?

i did not say they didnt vote...i said they need to vote those in power out

as far as the states being in madness and chaos..it isnt your country that is in chaos...it is the left thats in meltdown... the blame falls on all the Trump hating democrats and republicans along with the liberal population following like puppets
you got Maxine Watters citing violence in her public appearances... chuck shummer and his alligator tears crying the world is doomed...nancy pelosi
demanding the tax cuts back and all of them want open borders..which btw... when they were in power were in favor of stronger and tougher
border control and obama separating kids for parents..where was the outcry then..there wasnt any because the MSM was not reporting it

they arent even happy with the 4.1 GDP that has taken place under President Trump..and even try to tell me its because of obama
it is because of Trump and his administration removing the regulations the last one put in place and brought back the manufacturing jobs
that obama said would never come back..tax cuts made it possible for corporations to make new hires without being restricted..fair trade talks are happening with the EU..since NAFTA came into effect...the US has been screwed by every other country involved in it..Canada included with the lumber trade

i get every news channel you all get down there and not one of the MSM stations report the positive things that have taken place in your
country since Trump took office...they are brainwashing the public with their anti-trump rhetoric and talking points
since the GDP report has come out all they talk about is cohen and russia and porn stars
they have all become opinion shows rather than reporting the facts and real news

that is why your country is so divided

yes every place has their problems and Canada is one of them..i am not naive ..look at the trudeau thread..i post the facts about him in there
he is an embarrassment and traitor to this great country of Canada...if the US citizens dont start standing up to illegal immigration ya'll are going to end up in the same boat we are now in..ya'll start to think with your heads and not your hearts

I am in Washington some of my family is in California I don’t know who they voted for and I would never
tell them who they should vote for just like I wouldn’t want someone to tell me who to vote for.
I pay taxes they pay taxes it’s their right to vote how they choose..

I was referring to the memes here that are made up and not true and just posting anything they can dig up about
Krazy California. I’m done saying anything else in here or any other political thread for that matter here.
So y’all can carry on and have at it.

And I’m not going to go into all the other things you mentioned except I do think from my head but I think with my heart too and there’s nothing wrong with that.

it goes all the way to their leadership

i have said what i needed to say and the left right or center wont silence me
whether what someone posts here is true or not is is up to the reader to research it if they are concerned instead of following herd mentality
if they cant stand the heat the kitchen is no place for them

Dems Push to Blacklist Companies Working on Border Wall — Punishing Workers Who ‘Rely’ on Their Jobs

Some Democrats in California are pushing to blacklist companies after President Donald Trump renewed his threat to shut down the government over his proposed border wall.

We must have Border Security, get rid of Chain, Lottery, Catch & Release Sanctuary Cities - go to Merit based Immigration. Protect ICE and Law Enforcement and, of course, keep building, but much faster, THE WALL!

Some California cities are looking to blacklist those who take any part in building the border wall.
San Diego is the latest to join the list.
“Trump’s border wall does nothing to promote San Diego’s robust economy and our positive international ties with Mexico,” Democratic Council President Pro Tem Barbara Bry said, according to The Washington Free Beacon.
In a 3-1 vote, San Diego City Council, which is a Democratic majority, called for a draft that will require contractors to disclose any work, as well as planned bids, that relate to the border wall.
The only person who voted against the ordinance, Republican Councilman Chris Cate, said it would shame employers and employees and would create a “bad precedent.”
“These folks rely on jobs to provide for their families,” Cate said.
Another city in California, Oakland, ordered contractors to file statements saying they have never and will never bid for border wall-related work.
Los Angeles passed a rule that anyone working with the city or seeking to must make it known if they are helping, in any way, with the “federally funded wall, fence or other barrier along the border between the United States and Mexico.”

Illegal immigration is a top National Security problem. After decades of playing games, with the whole World laughing at the stupidity of our immigration laws, and with Democrats thinking...
Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump
...that Open Borders, large scale Crime, and abolishing ICE is good for them, we must get smart and finally do what must be done for the Safety and Security of our Country!

One of the reasons we need Great Border Security is that Mexico’s murder rate in 2017 increased by 27% to 31,174 people killed, a record! The Democrats want Open Borders. I want Maximum Border Security and respect for ICE and our great Law Enforcement Professionals! @FoxNews

“This is a wall of shame, and we don’t want any part of it,” Democratic Assemblyman Phil Ting said. “Californians build bridges, not walls.”
House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said last week that the funding for the wall was “not a question of if, it’s a question of when.”
Ryan added that Trump is “willing to be patient to make sure we get what we need so that we can get this done.”
On Monday, Trump threatened to shut down the government if Democrats do not fund the border wall. This suggests Congress must pass a spending bill by the end of September that includes $25 billion for construction of a wall to avoid a government shutdown.
“I always leave room for negotiation,” Trump said during a press conference.
