Coming home from shopping, we had a little surprise in our tiny little town that only has two intersections controlled with traffic signal lights.

When we pulled into the drive, I saw this gorgeous boat and had to take pictures.

When I got closer to take more pictures, I noticed something that had me taking more pictures.

Just think. There is no place anywhere around here it can be used. The lake is almost closed (and is tiny), and the Colorado river is too treacherous... with jagged boulders poking through the water leaving no room to even try to navigate something that big. If you notice, the boat has been registered. I wonder if it is being moved from someplace such as Corpus Christi to somewhere more Northern, such as the Great Lakes.

Then maybe they are taking it to Corpus.

The thing was parked in an empty lot where a convenience store once was ... at the intersection of two state highways. It was certainly the most exciting thing I have seen in town the whole time I lived here. I did not even bother taking the camera off the tripod before running out the door to get pics... and with my back and hips, running is not a good idea.

So the rig with the boat on a low loader had broken down and was being recovered by the other rig?

...or is the rig behind feeling horny and trying to mount the rig in front of it?

Why do I feel like changing the words to a very old simple song?

Tow, tow, tow your boat......

Yes, the semi tractor pulling the lowboy broke down, and had to be towed by the wrecker.

Tow tow toe your boat
slowly down the street
carefully carefully carefully carefully
your trannie's getting weak.

...and this...

...which is a real bank note, and at the time it was issued would not have been sufficient to buy a loaf of bread.
