I think the title should say gunshot, not shotgun.

they got it right..it was a 12 gauge pump action shotgun loaded with a slug that the wildlife officer used in the video
this method for freeing locked deer is the preferred method and used all the time..however the time of year is odd..in
the winter bucks shed their antlers and the rut was long over
great shot just the same

np..i hope i didnt come across as a know it all but as a hunter i thought you might appreciate my input
bucks normally shed their antlers early December to early January and when i seen the date on the video i was surprised
they both still had them..but it made shooting that 1 antler off easier..but still a great shot
