Following the recent bitterly cold spell, the weekend became steadily warmer, windier and wetter. This morning the wind had died down and it was no longer raining.
I stood aside to allow another walker coming in the opposite direction to pass without stepping in puddles and noticed I was stood under a whole tree of water droplet.
The morning started with bright sunshine. By the time I was ready to go out, of course, it started raining. A breezy morning of intermittent sunshine and quick showers which would have been light if it wasn't for the wind whipping the drops along. I didn't manage to get any really good shots and, surprisingly, didn't see any rainbows.
There wasn't a cloud in the sky when I went to bed last night and it seems it stayed that way. There was quite a frost visible before the sun rose, but it was burning off rapidly. Still quite chilly when I went for a walk, but the burgeoning life in the hedgerows was really uplifting.
