First thing I thought of were hand grenade pins but those were always kinda long and the size of a pencil, I may be wrong.

Are they cartridge hooks? For removing stuck cartridges?

That's it: shotgun cartridge extractors.



Not just for stuck cartridges. Most shotguns have an ejector mechanism, and these could be used for when that fails, but there are also some shotguns with no ejector mechanism at all: that is the main reason these exist. Some even have an extra function by having a dog whistle in the shaft. The flanges slot onto the base of the cartridge, hence the different specific sizes to match the gauge of cartridge.

Don´t really deserve that, B virtually told me(us). Haven´t fired a shotgun for about 25 years, hard to get a licence here.
